Body Parameters

Parameter	Type	Definition
guidances	`object`	Optional. Object defining image guidance inputs that influence the generated result.
guidances.image_reference	`array`	Optional. Array of up to 14 reference images. Each reference includes image.type (`UPLOADED`, `GENERATED`, `VARIATION`, `URL`, or `BASE64`) and either image.id (for `UPLOADED`, `GENERATED`, or `VARIATION`), image.url (required when type is `URL`), or image.data (Base64-encoded image bytes, required when type is `BASE64`). An optional order (integer, minimum 0) sets the position of the reference in the list.
height	`integer`	Optional. Height input resolution. Defaults to `1024`. Refer to the table below for valid height and width pairs.
model	`string`	Required. Model identifier. Set to `google/nano-banana-2.1`.
prompt	`string`	Required. Text prompt describing what image you want the model to generate.
prompt_enhance	`string`	Optional. Controls prompt enhancement. Accepts `"AUTO"`, `"ON"`, or `"OFF"`. Defaults to `"AUTO"`.
public	`boolean`	Optional. Boolean flag that determines whether the generation is public (`true`) or private (`false`).
quantity	`integer`	Optional. Number of images to generate in a single request. Default is 1, maximum is 8.
style_ids	`array`	Optional. Array of style UUIDs used to apply preset artistic styles to the output. Limited to 1 style. Defaults to `111dc692-d470-4eec-b791-3475abac4c46` (Dynamic). Refer to the table below for a list of style IDs.
width	`integer`	Optional. Width input resolution. Defaults to `1024`. Refer to the table below for valid height and width pairs.

Important: width and height parameters are validated independently, but their combination is not validated against the supported aspect ratio pairs. If both values are individually valid but do not match one of the supported width–height pairs listed in the table above, the request will still be accepted. In this case, the aspect ratio passed to the model will silently default to 1:1, and no validation error will be returned.

To ensure the intended aspect ratio is used, always provide a width and height combination that exactly matches one of the supported pairs.

A width and height value of 0 and 0 instructs the system to attempt to match the aspect ratio of the input reference image.
